For 2022, Leonidas has moved up to compete in the prestigious CIV Junior Aprilia RS250SP championship and is amongst the youngest skilled rider to do so. Leonidas’ perseverance and determination paid off despite the odds against him. With a lot of hard work and resilience, he became competitive and experienced at the international level, showing stronger results each successive race. As a result, he successfully completed two revered Italian championships, FIM MiniGP World Series CIV Junior and Coppa Italia Junior, both 160cc class, during his first year debut abroad. This transition meant drastically changing life as he knew it in the states and making heartfelt sacrifices. To pursue his dreams, Leonidas courageously took a leap of faith and traveled to Italy where many of his idols trained and raced on the world stage. In 2020, he competed nationally in MotoAmerica’s Ohvale Mini Cup championship 110cc class. At age five, he began competing in SFLMiniGP local Florida races. Leonidas is a 12-year-old American motorcycle road racer with big dreams of becoming a MotoGP World Champion.
